All of the activites and events sponsored by Houghton PTO are run by volunteers and we need you! Here are some ways that you can help our school:
1. Volunteer to coordinate an activity or fundraiser. From the book sale to chess club to staff appreciation lunches, we need helping hands in every capacity. If you are wondering what task might be right for you, contact houghtonpto@hotmail.com. Don’t forget to fill out a CORI form at the office for your volunteer badge. View volunteer form here.
2. Participate in PTO sponsored fundraisers and activities. Every dollar counts. If you do not want to purchase fundraiser items, consider making a monetary donation to the PTO.
3. Join loyalty programs or clip boxtops and labels on items you buy every day:

Boxtops for Education | Clipping those familiar boxtop labels off of products you purchase every day really adds up. Each label is worth 10 cents. Last year we raised over $1500. |

Hannaford Helps Schools | Earn school dollars during certain times of the year. Fall dates coming soon. |

Labels for Education | Clip and save product UPCs from participating products. |

Target RED card | Open a target store card or debit card and name Houghton as your school of choice. You will receive a 5% discount on all your purchases and a 1% percentage of sales will be donated back to the school. Last year Houghton Elementary School earned more than $1000 from only 17 participants. |
